Although sadly somewhat overgrown and unloved (in places) the allotments are ripe for restoration.
The
Parish Council is very aware of the neglect and is putting in place
plans to restore the allotments to a level of which even Arthur Fowler
in Eastenders would be proud!
 
However,
this kind of restoration takes both time and money. The good news
though is that plans are already underway. An outline plan of 10
allotments has been drawn up, along with plans to clear and clean the
allotments as well as bring water to the plots.
Currently the
Council is seeking competitive quotes for all the elements of the
restoration and we will be updating you as soon as we have news.
