ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(2)

Temporary Closure of A1124 Wakes Street/Tyburn Hill,  Wakes Colne

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that from the date specified below, the Essex County Council has temporarily closed to all traffic, under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the A1124 Wakes Street/Tyburn Hill, Wakes Colne from its junction with Station Road north-west to its junction with Boley Road. The closure is scheduled to take place between 7pm on 12 March and 7am on 13 March 2010 to facilitate carriageway repairs by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via A1124 Colchester Road/Colneford Hill/Lower Holt Street/Upper Holt Street, B1024 Coggeshall Road/Colne Road, A120 Colchester Road/Coggeshall Road, Great Tey Road, Brook Road, Chappel Road, Swan Street, Chappel Hill and The Street.


Access to property will be maintained during the closure.
