There are around 20 members of this friendly club.  The Chappel and Wakes Colne Carpet Bowls club meet every week at the Village Hall.

From 30th October, they will meet every Monday evening, except the first week of the month, when they meet on a Tuesday evening.  They meet form 7.00pm to 9.30pm.

You don't need any special clothing or shoes (although you're best avoiding heels!) and you're very welcome to have a go. The club provides the bowls and it's really great fun.  The overall concept of Carpet Bowls is the same as the Indoor Bowls seen on television, except that it is played with smaller and lighter bowls on a carpet only thirty feet long.  So, it can be played by anyone from youngsters to 100 year olds!

 It's best to check with either of the people listed if you're thinking of going along, just in case they have a match.

The team also play friendly matches with local teams in and around the Colne Valley.
